The Facilities at Shady Acres

Shady Acres is a gated community on four acres in southwest Ocala, FL. The property consists of:

• Four single-story structures with fourteen apartments for residences.
• A recreation building with laundry equipment.
• A two story building for the Shady Acres office and residents for the manager and assistant.
• Each apartment has a large living room, a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen.

Requirements

All Residents must be mentally challenged and:

• Have low or very low income
• Take their own medications
• Keep their apartment clean and orderly
• Pass a background check
• Be non automobile driver
• Have a member or advocate be on the Shady Acres board.
